At DiveMapping.com one of our goals is to encourage good stewardship and sustainability in our oceans. We hope our maps educate divers, suggestions to help minimize their negative impact on the aquatic environment. Small things can make a difference, notes like trails and access to minimize errosion, unusual animals and/or invasive species to report, reporting information for endangered species, encouraging buoyancy control, and education regarding human use, plastics and pollution.
